As we begin preparations to kick‐off the FY 2022 budget process at the City of Tuscaloosa, we want you to know that we recognize the significant financial impact that COVID‐19 continues to have on your operations and your ability to fulfill your mission. We are hopeful that 2021 revenues and projections for 2022 provide more flexibility and opportunity to assist in returning all levels of service to “normal”. However, it is too early to determine whether budget cuts will be necessary for FY 2022. The Accounting & Finance Department presents revenue updates to the City Council during one of the last two weeks of each month. You may want to tune in to those meetings for updates on the budget outlook for FY 2022.
The Council plans to discuss the FY 2022 agency funding requests during the regularly scheduled Finance Committee meetings beginning July 27, 2021. If your agency is selected to make a presentation during a Finance Committee meeting, you will be notified by July 20, 2021.

Please submit your application and all other required supporting documentation to agencyapplications@tuscaloosa.com no later than Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. All exhibits must be submitted in alphabetical order and as outlined in the instructions.
